Here at BigTime, we focus on building a positive culture where all employees are happy to show up every day and know how much they are valued. We’re proud to share that Built In announced BigTime earned a spot on its 2024 list of Best Places To Work Awards in Chicago and Boston.
The annual awards program includes companies of all sizes, from startups to those in the enterprise, and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in large tech markets across the U.S.
Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation and benefits. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI, and other people-first cultural offerings.
What our employees are loving about BigTime:
- Recurring internal surveys give the team a chance to voice any concerns or questions. The results of these surveys create action items for improvements.
- We prioritize employee well-being with wellness stipends, mental health resources, flexible time off, and regular Refresh Days, aiming to integrate wellness activities into our all-company gatherings.
- Through ongoing inclusivity education, policy reviews, and a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), we strive for an action-oriented, year-round program including training, ‘Lunch N’ Learns’, holiday recognition, and a comprehensive New Hire DEI course, ensuring everyone feels safe, supported, and valued.
- We lead by example, donating to our communities and encouraging our team to volunteer for 1% of their work hours, supporting personal community efforts with flexible time off, and organizing a company-wide community service activity.
